São Paulo

Brazil is very, very big so it's impossible to cover all the wonderful music that comes from this Latin American country. There are so many different genres, just to name but a few: samba, bossa nova, baile funk, forro. Therefor let's start with Brazil's biggest city, São Paulo.

Nu Braz is a project by singer/musician/DJ Emanuele Cucchi. The name comes from Braz, the area of São Paulo with the largest Italian community. Emanuele is the artistic director for various clubs in Milan and São Paulo and for some important Italian fashion designers like Armani and Rocco Barocco. Nu Braz’s musical influences come from jazz, Italian 60’s soundtracks and Nu Bossa.

Cansei De Ser Sexy released the best pop album of last year and their stage shows are energetic to say the least. With song titles like "Let's Make Love And Listen To Death From Above", "Meeting Paris Hilton" and a first EP called "Em Rotterdam Já É Uma Febre" they are cooler than cool. The new video "Alcohol" is just an excuse to bring them to the spotlight again.

Directed by Jared Eberhardt.
