Something

If you're not past mid-twenty you'll probably won't understand the Belgium movie "Dagen Zonder Lief". It's about the great disillusionment of twentysomethings: youth's innocence and freedom from care, so close by and yet so remote.

The music in the movie is well chosen, and is a variation on what Maxence Cyrin did in 2005 on his album "Modern Rhapsodies". His work is, as far as I know, the first attempt to play and record piano covers of house and techno tracks.

In this movie it's jazz artist Jef Neve taking a shot at "Something" (Lasgo) and "Don't You Want Me" (Felix).
