Beeper
If you haven’t already heard this track in 2007, you must be from Mars. "Beeper" is getting re-released on Domino Records and will come with a lot of remixes.

Crystal Fighters claim to be from Navarra, Spain. They love London. I love Iruñea, and their crazy ass music.
Don't forget to check out "Xigantea" on Crystal Fighters' myspace.

Something
If you're not past mid-twenty you'll probably won't understand the Belgium movie "Dagen Zonder Lief". It's about the great disillusionment of twentysomethings: youth's innocence and freedom from care, so close by and yet so remote.
The music in the movie is well chosen, and is a variation on what Maxence Cyrin did in 2005 on his album "Modern Rhapsodies". His work is, as far as I know, the first attempt to play and record piano covers of house and techno tracks.
In this movie it's jazz artist Jef Neve taking a shot at "Something" (Lasgo) and "Don't You Want Me" (Felix).

Konichiwa Bitches (Live)
Robyn went on stage at Highline Ballroom, New York City last Tuesday, and the crowd was singing along every word, as you can hear in these videos by Abbey Braden.
Robyn's album is out now in the UK and Europe and due in the U.S. in May on Konichiwa/Interscope.
